• quote details sent through reception chat, including project, location, timeline and contact details
• chat messages sent through reception chat and direct-chat messages sent through the site
• basic technical information such as IP address, browser, device type, requested pages and timestamps
• security verification data from Cloudflare Turnstile
• email verification details used to reveal direct contact details
• limited session context used by reception chat, such as current page, browser language, local time, viewport and draft quote details

How information is used

Information is used to:

• reply to enquiries and quote requests
• understand project context before responding
• operate reception chat and direct-chat availability checks
• prevent spam, abuse and automated form submissions
• maintain website security, reliability and troubleshooting logs
• improve the website and enquiry flow

Reception chat and enquiry logs

Messages sent to reception chat may be logged so Charles can review enquiries, follow up properly and debug the site. Do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information through the chat or forms.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses browser storage for practical features such as keeping the reception chat session available while you browse. Cloudflare may set security cookies for Turnstile, bot protection, caching and network security. See the cookies notice for more detail.

Third party services

• Cloudflare security, DNS, caching and Turnstile verification
• email delivery for contact forms, quote forms and contact-reveal verification codes
• direct chat between the website reception chat and Charles when available
• hosting, server logging and website infrastructure

These providers may process technical data needed to deliver their services. Some processing may occur outside Australia depending on provider infrastructure.

Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect the website and enquiry data, including HTTPS, Cloudflare protection, rate limiting, Turnstile checks and restricted server access. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Retention

Enquiry, quote and chat records are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, keep business records, troubleshoot the website and protect against abuse. Old records may be deleted when they are no longer useful.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information you have submitted through this site. Contact Charles with enough detail to identify the relevant enquiry or chat.

Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, contact Charles first so it can be reviewed and handled. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
